About ReeferDispatchers

A dispatch desk that does one thing: keeps refrigerated trailers loaded, paid and out of claims.

What we do

ReeferDispatchers dispatches semi tractors pulling 48 and 53 ft reefer trailers for carriers with their own operating authority. We find loads on the major load boards and through brokers and shippers we work with, negotiate the rate, read the temperature, pre-cool and appointment terms, handle broker paperwork and check calls, and chase detention. The carrier approves every load before it's booked.

Why only reefers

Refrigerated freight has its own rules: setpoints and modes, pulp temperatures, pre-cooling, food-grade trailers, unit fuel, and claims that turn on paperwork. A desk that books dry vans, flatbeds and box trucks all day treats a reefer load like any other. We'd rather know one kind of freight well. If you run other equipment, we're not the right dispatcher for it.

Who we work for

Owner-operators with one truck, and small fleets running a handful of reefers, including carriers who are new to reefer or switching from dry van. We work for the carrier: we're not a broker, and brokers pay you directly under your own MC.

How we charge

6% of gross load pay for one truck, 5% per truck for fleets of 2 or more (limited-time fleet rate). Only on loads hauled. No setup fee, no contract, 30 days notice to leave. Details on pricing and how it works.

How we work

  • We don't promise rates, loads or income. Markets move; we work them.
  • We tell you why when we recommend taking deadhead or passing on a load.
  • We send a weekly report so you can check our numbers against your settlements.
  • Our guides cite their sources and date their numbers. How we write them is in our editorial policy.
