Reefer dispatch pricing
Reefer dispatch cost: one number, no add-ons
Our reefer dispatch cost is 6% of the gross load pay for one truck, or 5% per truck once you run 2 or more with us. That's the whole price. No setup fee, no minimum, no contract, and nothing owed in a week you don't haul.

Example defaults, replace with your numbers
- Gross / week
- $9,000
- Fee / week
- $540
- Fee per truck
- $540
- You keep / week
- $8,460
At $9,000 a truck, you'd pay us $540 per truck per week and keep $8,460 before fuel and your other costs.
How this is calculated
Fee per truck = gross load pay per truck x rate. The rate is 6% for one truck. With 2 or more trucks, every truck uses 5%.
You keep = gross - fee, before fuel, insurance, tolls and your other costs. Monthly figures multiply a week by 52 / 12 = 4.33. These are estimates for planning; your signed dispatch agreement governs what you're billed.
Included in the percentage
Everything a reefer load needs from the desk
- Load sourcing on the major load boards plus our direct broker and shipper contacts
- Rate negotiation on every load, against the floor you set
- Broker calls, carrier packet setup and rate con review
- Temp, pre-cool, pulp and appointment terms checked before you say yes
- Check calls and delivery updates to the broker
- Deadhead and reload planning
- Detention, layover and TONU claims with timestamps attached
- A weekly earnings report: loads, gross, miles, rate per mile and our fee
- Dispatchers on the desk nights and weekends
What the fee doesn't buy
- We don't broker freight or take a cut from the broker's side
- We don't sell insurance, factoring, fuel cards or equipment
- We don't charge a setup fee, a monthly minimum or a cancellation fee
Fleet rate
5% per truck from the second truck on, for every truck
Run 2 or more reefers with us and the whole fleet moves to 5%, including the first truck. It's a limited-time fleet rate; the rate written into your dispatch agreement is the one you pay. Fleets also get a weekly report per truck so you can see which tractor and which lanes earn their keep. More on how we run multi-truck operations is on the reefer fleet dispatch page.

Example math
A sample week for one truck, reefer fuel included
Three loads, one truck, one week. Our fee sits next to the reefer fuel because both come off the same gross. Reefer fuel isn't covered by the fee, and it doesn't show up on the rate con, so it has to be in your minimum rate. Our guide to reefer run time and fuel burn explains where the gallons-per-hour figure comes from.

Pricing questions
How much does a reefer dispatcher charge?
Dispatch services usually charge either a percentage of the gross on each load or a flat weekly fee, and the numbers vary by company. We charge 6% of gross load pay for one truck and 5% per truck for fleets of 2 or more trucks (limited-time fleet rate). Nothing else: no setup fee, no monthly minimum.
Do I pay anything in a week I don't haul?
No. The fee is a percentage of the gross on loads you haul. If you take a week off, or we don't find a load you approve, you owe nothing for that week.
How does the fleet rate work?
As soon as you run 2 or more trucks with us, every truck in the fleet is billed at 5%, not just the second one. It's a limited-time rate, so the rate in your signed dispatch agreement is the one that applies to you.
Is the rate different for a new authority?
No. A new MC pays the same rate as a carrier with ten years of authority. New authorities usually take more calls in the first weeks because some brokers wait on authority age, and that's on us, not on your bill.
How do I cancel?
Give us 30 days notice in writing. There is no cancellation fee. Loads already booked during the notice period are handled and billed as usual. The onboarding walkthrough covers the agreement in more detail.
