Editorial policy
How we research, write, date and correct the guides and tools on this site.

Who writes our guides
Guides are written by the ReeferDispatchers Dispatch Desk, the team that books reefer loads for our carriers. We publish under the desk's name rather than an individual byline. When individual dispatchers' bios are published, guides they write will carry their names.
Sources come first
- Rules are checked against the official text: the Code of Federal Regulations, FMCSA, FDA, IRS, USDA and state agencies. Each rule we describe is cited on the page.
- Market numbers (rates, averages, prices) come only from named public sources, with the period they cover and the date we checked them. We don't invent averages.
- Company facts, like load board prices or equipment specs, come from each company's own current pages, dated. We don't publish rankings or ratings we can't support, and any "best" list states its criteria.
- Examples are labeled as examples. They show how math works; they aren't averages or promises.
Dates
Every guide and tool shows the date it was last updated. Pages with fast-moving numbers, like our reefer rates guide, are reviewed monthly.
What we won't publish
- Promises of rates, loads or income.
- Invented testimonials, reviews, statistics or team members.
- Legal, tax or insurance advice. Pages that touch those subjects say so.
- Paid placements disguised as editorial. We have no partnerships with the companies we mention.
Commercial interest
We sell reefer dispatch services, and our guides mention them. We try to keep guides useful on their own: you should be able to read any guide, use any tool, and run your operation without hiring us.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page with the page and what's wrong. We check it against the source, fix confirmed errors promptly, and update the page date. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
